GCC-4.1 support has been included in the Reference Build. With this change, the Reference Build now officially supports multiple GCC major versions. Details on the GCC4 Status Page. GS. 2005 Apr 05

Development of the x86 Reference Build documentation is progressing. A daily snapshot can be viewed online here. Automatic "scriptlet" extraction is now working. More details on the Reference Build page. GS. 2004 Sep 22
A CVS server has now been set up to allow development of Reference Build documentation. We've also set up a viewcvs web interface and a mailing list to receive commit messages. The website has been updated with a FAQ and more information about the Reference Build. GS. 2004 Aug 24
The x86 Reference Build is now starting to take shape. You can read the initial announcement about it here. A very robust build has already been achieved but more testers are needed. GS. 2004 Aug 10

A hosting arrangement has now been worked out and we're anticipating having a mailing list up and running within a few days.
